And this Qur’an is not such as could be invented by other than God; but it is a confirmation of what is before it, and an exposition of the Writ about which there is no doubt, from the Lord of All Creation. (10:37)
And perfected is the word of thy Lord in truth and justice; there is none to change His words; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. (6:115)
There is in their story a lesson for men of understanding; it is not an invented narrative but a confirmation of what is before it, and an exposition of every thing, and guidance, and a mercy for people who believe. (12:111)
And they say: “When is this promise, if you be truthful?” They look only for one Blast which will seize them while they are disputing — They will not be able to make a bequest, nor will they return to their people. And the Trumpet will be blown; and then from the graves will they hasten forth to their Lord. (36:48-51)

No Religion
The religion of Islam is not in the Qur'an. It is a preserved and complete text — requiring no outside literature to understand it — and is sufficient for a sincere sincere man striving to serve God alone.
A warning for mankind
The Qur'an warns those who turn away from God's guidance — including those who wrap themselves in the cloth of religion — of the eternal Hellfire.
